Primary Series

Teacher assessed or Online Assessment (via Jury)

Designed with the primary school (or Kinder) student in mind.

Any style or genre may be applied to this Series.

Each Level holds the pre-requisite of the preceding one.

Students will need to be well-prepared for each assessment

Elementary Stage

Levels 1 - 4
10 pieces are required for each of the Levels 1 - 4
PASS mark is 80%. No other mark is granted.

Intermediate STAGE

Levels 5 - 7
15 pieces are required for each of the Levels 5 - 7
PASS mark is 80%. No other mark is granted.

Advanced STAGE

Levels 8 – 10
20 pieces are required for each of the Levels 8 - 10
PASS mark is 80%. No other mark is granted.

Primary Honours Series

Music Laureate - ML (P)

Requirements:

Level 10

A full course or program of highest-level primary pieces

10 pieces are required for the Music Laureate.

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Performance Proficiency Certificate - PPC (P)

Requirements:

Music Laureate

A full course or program of highest-level primary pieces

15 pieces are required for the Performance Proficiency Certificate. An additional 5 pieces are added to those presented for the ML.

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Artistic Performance Certificate - APC (P)

Requirements:

Performance Proficiency Certificate

A full course or program of highest-level primary pieces

20 pieces are required for the Artistic Performance Certificate. An additional 5 pieces are added to those presented for the PPC.

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%
