Teacher assessed Online Assessment (via Jury)

Developed for the secondary-level student.

Each Grade holds the pre-requisite of the preceding one.

Any style or genre may be applied to this Series.

Elementary Stage

Preliminary - Grade 3

A full course or program of secondary level pieces

10 elementary-level pieces are required for each of the Grades

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Intermediate STAGE

Grades 4 - 7

A full course or program of secondary level pieces

10 intermediate-level pieces are required for each of the Grades

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Advanced STAGE

Grades 8 – 10

A full course or program of secondary level pieces

10 advanced-level pieces are required for each of the Grades

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Secondary Honours Series

Music Laureate - ML (S)

Requirements:

Grade 10

A program of the highest-level works in this Series, in any style or genre.

At this level, candidates may include a performance on a related, historical, or modern instrument.

10 pieces are required for Music Laureate - ML (S)

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Performance Proficiency Certificate - PPC (S)

Requirements:

Music Laureate

A program of the highest-level works in this Series, in any style or genre.

At this level, candidates may include a performance on a related, historical, or modern instrument.

15 pieces are required for the Performance Proficiency Certificate. An additional 5 pieces are added to those presented for the ML.

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%

Artistic Performance Certificate - APC (S)

Requirements:

Performance Proficiency Certificate

A program of the highest-level works in this Series, in any style or genre.

At this level, candidates may include a performance on a related, historical, or modern instrument.

A full course or program of higher secondary level pieces

20 pieces are required for the Artistic Performance Certificate. An additional 5 pieces are added to those presented for the PPC

HONOURS (Pass): 85 - 89%.
DISTINCTION: 90 - 94%
HIGH DISTINCTION: 95 - 100%
